About Crystal
With the turn of a page, a life unfolds. And with the passing of time, the smallest moments often become the ones we most wish to remember. George Eliot, one of my favorite authors, had a way of noticing the quiet details of ordinary life. That same attentiveness is at the heart of my work.
I’m Crystal, a newborn and family photographer in Lumberton, Texas. Since 2012, I’ve photographed newborns, growing children, and the changing seasons of family life. My sessions are calm, baby-led, and fully guided, creating space for your family to simply be while I preserve the moments you’ll one day look back on.
If you've been here before, you may have noticed my work evolving. I'm in a season of growth, learning to trust my own artistic vision rather than follow trends. I'm drawn to the quiet details, the imperfect beauty of everyday life, and the stories that move something deep within me. As my vision continues to unfold, my hope is that the work I create will speak to something in you, too.

Why Me?
You have enough to think about. Your baby has a mind of their own, your children have a thousand things on their own, and the thought of getting everyone in front of a camera can feel like one more thing to manage. That's where I come in.
After more than a decade photographing babies and families, I've learned that the best photographs often happen when people are allowed to settle in and be themselves. I'll guide you when you need it, help your children find their footing, and give your baby the time and patience they deserve.
I'll show you where to stand, help you feel at ease, and pay attention to the little things happening in between. The way your child reaches for your hand. The way you look at your baby. The moments you might not even notice until you see them in a photograph.
You don't have to know how to pose or worry about making everything perfect. You just have to show up. I'll take care of the rest.
