hey there,
I’m Crystal, and I’m truly glad you’re here. I’ve been photographing families since 2012. Over the years, I’ve learned that the most meaningful moments are the unexpected ones, the unposed, unplanned, real-life moments.
As my own kids grow, I’ve realized we can’t wait for perfection. We have to accept our families and ourselves as we truly are. Only then can we thrive.

my philosophy
Photography matters most when it centers on the intimate bond between the people we love.
Babies rarely sit still. Toddlers explore instead of pose. Parents laugh when things do not go as planned. These imperfect, everyday moments are exactly what make your family unique and what you will treasure most years from now.
With the rise of AI and all the fake that surrounds us, it is important we do not forget what real looks like. I guide families through relaxed, natural sessions that allow their connection to show. No stiff posing. No forced smiles. Just your life, honestly documented.
Yes, I still offer posed newborn sessions, but my goal is to move beyond anything that feels overly styled. I want you to hold your baby, slow down, and take in these first days. My role is simply to capture the quiet bond that already exists between you and your little one.
This is also why I photograph newborns in my own studio rather than in clients’ homes. My space is intentionally simple and calm. The light is consistent, the environment is quiet, and there are fewer distractions pulling attention away from your baby. Instead of worrying about cleaning the house or finding the perfect room, you can walk in, sit down, and just be with your baby. The simplicity keeps the focus where it belongs, on your connection and these fleeting first days.
