the messy middle

I’m Crystal, a wife, mom of two, homeschooler, and photographer running a business right in the middle of real life. Things aren’t perfectly tidy over here, but they’re full of purpose, love, and a whole lot of grace. I’ve learned that most of life happens in the in-between moments, the messy middle, and that’s exactly what I love to capture.

I love Jesus and I help teach in the youth department at my church. I love a good meal shared with family and friends, a hot cup of tea, and a book that pulls me in so deeply I forget the world for a while. I’m a husband girl through and through. Peter is my best friend and my favorite person, and I always want to be wherever he is. Our two dogs keep things lively, and my house plants remind me to slow down and breathe.

I’m always learning, always curious, and always trying to notice the beauty in the season I’m standing in. That’s what I want for you too, to see the goodness in your right now life, even if it’s not perfect or polished.
